Rescue Parade 2004 At the April 2004 Specialty Show, a Rescue Parade was held to honor all of the Westies who were rescued in 2003 along with their new families. This was the sixth Rescue Parade held by the SE Michigan Club.. The parade was led by Piper John Prapakas followed by Parade Marshal Craig Stewart from the St. Andrew's Society of Detroit, and Wee Parade Marshals.. As the Westies came into the show ring, their "stories" were told. There were many damp eyes in the room as they watched these now, happy little dogs with their families.
